Byron was elected to serve on the New England Deaconess Association – Newbury Court Concord Board of Overseers. Lee McGowan was elected to a three-year term as a Corporator at Emerson Hospital. Byron and Lee were also recognized as 2012 Boston Five Star Wealth Managers. The award winners appeared in a special section of Boston magazine.
