On November 4, Peter Johnson spoke before a group of 50 residents of Newbury Court, Concord, MA on the topic of legal advanced directives, including health care proxies, HIPAA authorizations, and living wills, and how these legal documents relate to the documents used for the similar purposes in the medical community, namely, the Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order and the Medical Orders for Life Sustaining Treatments (MOLST) document. The session was lively with many questions from the audience. Also speaking at the session were Glenn Burlamachi of the Concord Funeral Home, Doreen Glynn of New England Deaconess and the Rev. Lilian Warner.
